Lipica–Lokev–Škocjan

Lipica is home to world famous white Lipizzaner horses. We will attend a riding school show and have some free time in Lipica. We will then head to Lokev for a traditional Karst prosciutto tasting, and later on to the Škocjan Regional Park, protected by UNESCO, which is home to the Škocjan Caves. Here we find the largest underground canyon in the world. We will stop for a 2-hour visit, but if you prefer to do your walking above ground, the Škocjan Park offers a pleasant 1.2-mile (2 km) walking trail. Please note: there is no riding school show on Mondays and special occasions in Lipica. Inquire in advance.
