Slovenske Konjice–Prihova–Slovenska Bistrica–Kočno

Upon arrival in Styria, we first stop at the Trebnik manor in Slovenske Konjice, where the house herbalist will lead us through the herb garden, show us the herb gallery and offer us a cup of freshly prepared herbal tea. We will continue to the village of Prihova to see one of the most beautiful pilgrimage churches in the region.

Our next point of interest will be the artistically decorated Knights’ Hall as well as the rich and diverse exhibitions in the Slovenska Bistrica castle, where some souvenir shopping will also be possible. While enjoying a traditional Styrian meal, we will be entertained by an accordion player. In the afternoon, we will drive to Kočno, a small idyllic Pohorje village, which is a true ethnological museum exhibiting farm tools, machines and devices that our grandparents used on farms in Pohorje. We will conclude the trip with a tour of a local wine cellar and taste some quality local wines.
